Dear Lewistown,

If you live in or near Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, visit morning worship at Resurrection: Lewistown this Sunday at 10:30 a.m., meeting downtown at the Bethel A.M.E. building (23 N Juniata St, Lewistown, PA 17044).

Resurrection: Lewistown is a new forming church committed to

– a high view of the authority of the Bible
– faithful, Christ-centered preaching from all of Scripture
– biblically-based worship conducted with joyful reverence using historic hymns and Psalms
– a strong emphasis on the good news of God’s free grace consistent with the Reformation-era gospel themes:

By Grace Alone
Through Faith Alone
In Christ Alone
According to the Authority of Scripture Alone
To the Glory of God Alone

Before worship at 10:30, Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. where you can learn more about a Biblical perspective on the church and the values and priorities that inform OPC church planting. The most frequent preacher is Rev. Andrew Miller, Regional Home Missionary for the OPC Presbytery of Central Pennsylvania.

Resurrection: Lewistown is an outreach of Resurrection OPC in State College. For more information about Resurrection OPC, including what we believe, what our priorities are, and the denomination to which we belong, visit Resurrection’s About page.
